1.     What is Diabetes?

Diabetes is a metabolic disorder characterized by high blood sugar levels. It occurs when the body either cannot produce enough insulin or cannot effectively use the insulin it produces. There are two main types of diabetes: Type 1 and Type 2. Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease, while Type 2 diabetes is a lifestyle disease.

According to the WHO, approximately 422 million people worldwide suffer from diabetes.

Blood pressure is the force of blood against the walls of the arteries. High blood pressure, also known as hypertension, occurs when the blood pressure is consistently too high, putting extra strain on the heart and blood vessels.
